Just the Thought

There you go again, crossing my mind,

Your flawless self, so funny and kind.

My heart won’t stop racing, my mind is all jumbled

I try to speak out but my words are all mumbled.

The feeling you give me spins me up high,

Around in my stomach the butterflies fly.

The thought of your eyes, your freckles, your smile,

Lost in a day dream I am for awhile.

And to think just a thought could send me into this state,

When I actually see you, what will be my fate?

“That Look”

We have all seen “that look”. When a guy looks at a girl like no one else exist. When any stranger can see on his face the love he feels for her. Today I was driving out of a parking lot with my mom when a guy ran out in front of us to get to a girl on the other side. The guy was decently attractive and the girl brunette and small. Neither of them was anything amazing or particularly special. But then I saw him lean down to bring his brown eyes to her level and greet her. She grabbed his hands and they just stood there, not kissing or hugging just staring at each other. But it wasn’t this that touched me. It was the look in his eyes that sent chills down my spine. You could just tell that she was his world, his everything. It was so clear from his smile, to the way his nose was scrunched, to the way his eyes just sparkled. That is true love. It’s not about physical appearance or a physical relationship. It’s not about how popular you become for dating a person or what your friends think of them. Its about finding that person who makes you feel like no one else in the world can. And one day I hope I can find that. One day I hope I find a guy who’s love for me is written all over face.
